The Bride
Softball Player, Education Guru, & Dog Mom
With father Chris as catcher and coach, Catherine spent much of her childhood on the softball fields. As an adult, like her school board member and educator mother Charlotte (and Dad later in life), she turned her focus to education. She has been a classroom teacher, school finance consultant, Assistant Superintendent, Senate Education Committee Director, and most recently, education technology advisor. She has always been enthusiastic about her beloved dogs, especially her furbaby Roy Kent.

With father Larry as the head of the local youth baseball league and respected architect in Texarkana, Jason grew up learning everything there is to know about baseball and building homes. As a young adult, he moved to Austin to become a Texas Longhorn. Here, while flipping and building houses on the side, he became a skilled software developer and engineer for Dell Technologies and the Farm Credit Bank of Texas. He currently leads.a team as the Principal Technologist at Customer Value Partners. Throughout the years, he has served as a trusted umpire, and alongside his devoted mother Jackie, has shown great care for many cats including Simba, Okie and Sassy.
